All have been updated to address SANE specific issues and circulated to a core group for evaluation: S. Wood, W. Kellner, B. Manzlak, M. Seely, H. Areti, P. Bosted

  3. ESAD Hazards and Hazard Mitigation for SANE specific components • Polarized Target • Beta Detector • BigCal • Cerenkov • Hodoscope • Forward Tracker • Chicane • Downstream : Dump and Helium Bag

  4. TOSP Needed for period just prior to start of exp. (7/15-9/30) Hazards • High Magnet Field • Liquid Helium • High Voltage • Microwaves • Thin Vaccuum windows • Elevated Platforms

  5. TOSP Needed for period just prior to start of exp. (7/15-9/30) Hazard Controls when Magnet is Energized • All work coordinated with JLab Target Group. • Crane operation not permitted • Target Expert present restricting access to target platform at all times during restricted access. • All high V terminals shielded. • 1/4” Polycarb shields on target window. • Construction fence barriers placed around all sides with warning of high B field. • All access points to target obstructed with chains. Signage displaying hazards. • Signage at all access points to the hall.
