With the world turning into a global village, the leisure habits of people too got transferred from one corner of the world to the other and added variety to what we eat, move around and prefer.This increased the demand of the hospitality industry to become even greater and perform even better. Whereas, this brings us to a more difficult situation since we don’t have enough talent to serve the hospitality industry or it remains unexplored.

  3. 1.Skills Shortage: People face a lack of awareness and less knowledge when it comes to this particular industry. Either it remains unexplored, or people do not get enough knowhow to get in connection with the industry’s demand This issue now dictates the recruiters and HR managers in their recruitment process. In terms of the hospitality industry there are now many modern ways to attract the best talent.

High Turnover Rate: • This is due to the fact that staff working for leisure programs and hotels etc. usually face odd schedule issues and also the fact that workers in this field are paid low, which makes them quit sooner. • With a high turnover rate recruitment itself becomes a huge problem in this industry. And even if one does, finding the candidates with the best skills and professionalism is a challenge. • A Solution: See the real personality of the applicant. You must be wondering how! • Checking the candidates’ social media profiles and recommendations say a lot of him/her. This, in particular, gives an insight of one’s work profile and recommended skills.
