  3. Quiz MON Clare practices piano for 45 minutes Monday through Friday. She practices piano for one hour and 15 minutes on Saturday and Sunday. What is the total amount of time Clare practices piano each week? 7 hr 30 min 6 hr 15 min 5 hr 15 min 4 hr 45 min

  4. Clare practices piano for 45 minutes Monday through Friday. She practices piano for 1 hour and 15 minutes on Saturday and Sunday. What is the total amount of time Clare practices piano each week? How long does Clare practice in a week? 45 mins Mon – Fri 1 hr 15 mins Sat & Sun 45 x 5 = 225 mins Mon –Fri 75 x 2 = 150 mins Sat & Sun 225 + 150 = 375 mins 375 /60= 6 hrs and 15 minutes left over I multiplied 45 by 5 to see how many minutes she would practice Monday through Friday. Then, I converted the hour to 60 minutes and added the other 15 minutes to that to get 75 minutes. Then I multiplied 75 by 2 to get how many minutes she would practice on Saturday and Sunday. Then I added all the minutes together and got 375 minutes. Then I divided 375 by 60 to see how many hours and minutes that would equal. Clare practices for 6 hours and 15 minutes each week. Answer B

  10. Quiz TUE Which decimal represents the shaded region of the model? • 0.665 C) 0.667 • 0.6 D) 0.667

  11. Which decimal represents the shaded region of the model? How do you express the shaded part as a decimal? decimal I saw that 4 out of 6 pieces was shaded which is also 2 out of 3. Then, I divided 2 BY 3 to get the repeating decimal. Since the 6 repeats itself, 2/3 = 0.6 with a bar over the 6. Shaded part = 4/6 or 2/3 4/6 or 2/3 is expressed as 0.6 with a bar over the 6 as a decimal. (B)
