  25. … LR Induction Bends • Induction Bending– A controlled process of bending Pipes through Induction Heating of a • localized cross section of a Pipe, using HF induced electrical current. • Induction Coil is placed around the Pipe to be bent. • Coil heats a narrow circumferential zone of Pipe to appropriate bending temperature, • 730˚ C - 1100˚ C. • At the bending temperature, Pipe is gradually moved through the heating ring while a • bending moment is applied to the heated area. • After bending, Pipe is either forced or naturally cooled as per applicable qualified bending • procedure. ---ISO 9001 & PED
