Repent – ‘Metanoe’ “To change one’s mind on something” Repentance Involves… • Acknowledging your sins with deep regret and remorse • Acknowledging your need for forgiveness and Jesus Christ’s sacrifice to pay the penalty for those sins • Asking for forgiveness for those sins • Moving forward through the power of the Holy Spirit and daily making the conscious decision to not continue in a sinful lifestyle
