  2. Why, Lord, do you let us wander from your ways… We have long been like those you do not rule, people who do not bear your name. Oh, that you would tear the heavens open and come down …!Is 63:17.19

  3. Arise! Come to our help! Ransom us, as your faithful love demands. Why do you turn your face away, forgetting that we are poor and harrassed? For we are bowed down to the dust, and lie prone on the ground? Ps 44:24-26

  4. Ecl 7:15The upright person perishing in uprightness and the wicked person surviving in wickedness. Upright people being treated as though they were wicked and wicked people being treated as though they were upright. Ecl 8:14 Wasn’t it said that here is no good in store for the wicked because he does not fear God, and so, like a shadow, he will not prolong his days. Ecl 8:13

  5. How long, Lord, am I to cry for help while you will not listen; to cry, 'Violence!' in your ear while you will not save?Hab 1:2-3Why do you make me see wrong-doing, why do you countenance oppression? Why do you watch in silence while the evildoer swallows up one better than himself? Hab 1:13

  6. Why do the wicked still live on, their power increasing with their age? The peace of their houses has nothing to fear... Though they planned everything far from God prosperity is in their hands... Job 21:6-7.9.16

  7. Lord, you are always right when I complain to you; nevertheless, where is your justice? Why do the wicked prosper? And why do traitors live in peace? Jer 12:1 Why is there no end to my sorrow or healing for my wound? Why do you deceive me, and why does my spring suddenly dry up? Jer 15:18

  8. My heart fails before the terror of God. Job 6:4 Will you ever take your eyes off me and give me respite to swallow my spitle?... Why choose me as your target? Have I become a burden to you? Job 7:19-20

So I decided to speak no more in your name. But then there seems to be a fire burning in In my heart. The effortto restrain it wearied me, I could not do it.
