Aerospace Industry Center for Advanced Manufacturing Leverage foundational knowledge and common resources to benefit the diverse companies in the aerospace sector GOAL: Raise awareness of the aerospace industry’s importance to Indiana and the U.S. economies OUTCOMES: 1) Partnered with Rolls-Royce to create the Indiana Advanced Aerospace Manufacturing Alliance (IAAMA) 2) Indiana state legislature passed H.R. 33 (2006) recognizing Purdue’s leadership GOAL: Engage the aerospace industry in collaborative research projects and engagement events OUTCOMES: 1) Multiple sponsored research projects 2) Semi-annual business development meetings w/ leading aerospace OEM’s and the 60 IAAMA member companies www.purdue.edu/dp/cam ■ (765) 494-1279 ■ Mann Hall, Suite #266
