    1. Making your life easier with the Pen Cat Tool Hi my name is Lisa Houston and I have been working with ERGPA for about 3 months now. Thank you for attending tonight, firstly I have a few house keeping notes. Could you please just put all mobile phone’s on silent. Toilets are down the hall at the back, and In case of an emergency there are exits to the front and back of the building. Pen Cat Recipes - What are Recipes? - Where can they be found? - How to make your own. Question and Answer Time Evaluation and Close So this is the agenda for tonight, As you can see we will give you the opportunity to have a play with the Pen Cat tool later on. Where Ian and myself will offer some assistance.     3. What is the Pen Cat Tool? Analyses clinical information and translates the data into easy to understand graphical information. Helps practice staff take action to improve chronic disease management. PEN clinical audit tool is developed by PEN computer systems, which is compatible with MD2 and MD3, Genie and Best Practice. It is a really useful tool as it translates the clinical information off the doctors computer into graphical information – which is then is easy to read and make recall lists from. The emphasis of the tool is to help practice staff take specific action to improve patient coverage in chronic disease management and prevention. Recipes – make your own It can be quite complicated to produce your own recipe, here are some tips: - always note down the filters you highlight (so you don’t forget) - if possible have a nurse/doctor to help you with the medication selection (so you select the correct medication for conditions)

    10. Common Questions Where can I access Pen Cat? Will using the Pen Cat affect my data in MD? Where can I get help whilst using Pen Cat? Can I save filters, so I can compare them in the future?
