Helps practice staff take action to improve chronic disease management. PEN clinical audit tool is developed by PEN computer systems, which is compatible with MD2 and MD3, Genie and Best Practice. It is a really useful tool as it translates the clinical information off the doctors computer into graphical information – which is then is easy to read and make recall lists from. The emphasis of the tool is to help practice staff take specific action to improve patient coverage in chronic disease management and prevention. Recipes – make your own It can be quite complicated to produce your own recipe, here are some tips: - always note down the filters you highlight (so you don’t forget) - if possible have a nurse/doctor to help you with the medication selection (so you select the correct medication for conditions)
