  2. KPL is domestic T20 tournament established and conducted by Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). It has been going on for six seasons and total number of teams vary from 7 to 8 teams are participating in the league. Its first tournament was held in 2009/10. After its second tournament in 2010/11, KPL became inactive for three years from 2011 to 2013.   3. Seven squads/teams naming Bengaluru Blasters, Belagavi Panthers, Ballari Tuskers, Bijapur Bulls, Hubli Tigers, Mysuru Warriors and Shivamogga Lions will be battling in this season of KPL. The entire season will be telecasted live on ‘STAR SPORTS’. KSCA will be conducting one match every day while on weekends(Saturday and Sunday) total of two matches will be conducted. The timings disclosed for the matches are 6:30 PM every day and on weekends First match will be held at 2:00 PM and the second match will be held at 6:30 PM.

One can say that it was completely one sided match and panthers were struggling to stick around the crease. The panthers lost the match by whooping 67 runs. On August 16, 2018 the second match of KPL was played between Hubli Tigers and Bijapur Bulls and the match was won by Hubli Tigers by 4 Wickets. The star player of the match was leg-spinner Mahesh Patel of Hubli Tigers by showing his exceptional bowling skills.   5. On August 17, 2018 Third Match was played for this season of KPL and it was very exciting match. The match was won by Bengaluru Blasters by Very small margin of 6 runs only.
