  2. Nidhivan is a temple located in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is believed to be the place where Lord Krishna and Radha would come to dance together during the night. The temple is surrounded by a dense forest, and it is believed that the trees in the forest are the gopis (cowherd girls) who dance with Radha and Krishna during the night. Nidhivan has a mysterious aura surrounding it, and it is believed that the deity of Radha Krishna disappears every night, and they perform their "Raas-Leela" dance in the temple premises. The temple has a unique feature where the priests of the temple put the deity of Radha Krishna to bed every night and when they open the temple doors the next morning, they find the bedsheet crumpled, the flowers scattered, and the sandalwood paste on the feet of the deity worn off. The story of Nidhivan goes back to the 16th century when the famous saint Swami Haridas established the temple. Swami Haridas was a renowned musician and devotee of Lord Krishna, who spent most of his time composing and singing devotional songs. He was believed to be the Guru of the famous musician Tansen. According to the legend, Swami Haridas was visited by Lord Krishna and Radha Rani in the form of a child. The child asked Swami Haridas to create a temple where they could dance together. Swami Haridas followed the instructions and built the temple, which is now known as Nidhivan. The legend of Nidhivan goes further to say that Swami Haridas was a close confidant of Lord Krishna, and he would often sing devotional songs for him. One day, Lord Krishna asked Swami Haridas to perform the "Raas-Leela" dance, which is the divine dance that he performed with Radha Rani and the gopis. Swami Haridas was hesitant at first, but Lord Krishna convinced him to perform the dance. Swami Haridas then performed the "Raas-Leela" dance with Lord Krishna, and the divine dance was witnessed by the entire village. From that day onwards, it is believed that Lord Krishna and Radha Rani would come to Nidhivan every night to perform the "Raas-Leela" dance. It is also believed that the trees in the forest surrounding the temple are the gopis who dance with Radha and Krishna during the night.

  3. However, the reality behind the mysterious aura of Nidhivan remains a mystery, and it is up to the devotees to believe in the legends or not. Many devotees claim to have heard the sounds of the anklets and the flute during the night, and some even claim to have seen the divine couple dancing in the temple premises. Some people claim that the temple is haunted by spirits, and people who have dared to stay inside the temple premises during the night have experienced paranormal activities.
