Shahjahan was the fifth Mughal Emperor, and Mumtaz Begum was his third wife, whom he loved the most. The love of both of them is eternal. The Taj Mahal started building in 1631. The Taj expresses its beauty at the different parts of the day. Ustad Ahmad Lahauri, Mir Abd-ul Karim were the men who constructed the Taj Mahal under the guidance of Shahjahan. The 20,000 workers who worked harder to built it are still unknown. Its construction took 22 years, starting from 1631 to 1653. The prestigious monument is created with white marbles. After the finishing of the Taj, Shahjahan decided to build another Black Taj to be buried when he dies, opposite to Taj Mahal, with which his son Aurangzeb was not satisfied. He was kept in prison in the tower of Red Fort at Agra, in his last days. Taj Mahal was visible from that place. He died in the year 1666 and is buried next to his beloved wife's grave in Taj. You can easily find the Taj Mahal on google map. If you are a historical lover, make sure to visit it once in your lifetime.
