  1. Aechmea chantinii cv. “Bromeliad” 1. • Leaf Description: • linear, with sharp edges, and can be green, silver-green, or gray. They are 24 inches (60 cm) long. • Flower Description: • long lasting, brightly colored, and tubular in shape

  2. Antirrhinum majus “Snapdragon” 2. • Leaf Description: • linear, glossy, midgreen, 3 inches long, and sometimes hairy. • Flower Description: • Many colors are available, including burgundy, red, pink, yellow, white, lavender, and bicolor.

  3. Araucaria heterophylla “Norfolk Island Pine” 3. • Leaf Description: • needlelike, dark green, and 1.25 inches long. Male and female cones are green maturing to brown. The female cones are spherical and male cones are cylindrical. As a houseplant, they can grow to 6-9 feet indoors.
