  1. WHY DO MY TEETH HURT IN THE COLD WEATHER? The usual temperature for our teeth is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit and we experience no kind of sensitivity when the temperature is around 98 degrees Fahrenheit. Sensitivity is caused because the roots being exposed to hot or cold temperatures and the nerves send a sharp pain across the jaw One way to get used to this sensitivity is to touch your teeth in hot and cold water every day for 8 minutes so that the nerves get used to the temperatures. It is o like only hot or cold food will cause sensitivity in the teeth. The cold air of winter can wreak havoc with your mouth. A deep breath in and you are trying to come down from the clouds.

  2. Here are the top reasons for cold weather-induced pain in your mouth: 1.Defective fillings where the gaps are open 2.Defective crown or bridge margins with damages from food and mouth acids 3.Cracked teeth 4.Recessed gums from periodontal disease 5.Bite problems See more at: https://therichmonddentist.blogspot.com/2021/01/why-do- my-teeth-hurt-in-cold-weather.html Shared by:The Richmond Dentist
