  2. The Trans-Siberian railway is considered to be one of the greatest in the world which allows you to explore three countries and cross two continents showing you the most remote areas of Russia, Mongolia, China –all this right at the comfort of your train cabin. Of course, sitting inside a train can get old fast which is why we have created a suggested list of items that you should pack to make sure you are comfortable all throughout the journey. Once you have these items packed, you are now ready to enjoy one of the Trans-Siberian express tours and holidays by the Trans-Siberian Travel Company.

  3. Water and food – Well, this obviously belongs to the list. There is food available in the train but if you would rather not pay for overpriced food, we recommend you bring your own for duration of the travel. If you have instant noodles, you can take advantage of the free hot water they serve inside the train. • Basic toiletries (toothbrush, deodorant, wipes, etc.) – There are no showers aboard the railway so get ready to do your daily cleaning in front of a sink. Wipes can be very helpful for removing dirt and odor while deodorant and perfume can help mask days’ worth of body odor.

  4. Power bank – You are going to be on the train for quite some time so you will need to bring with you your electronic devices to help fight boredom. And if those devices run out of battery, you’ll feel secure knowing that you have enough battery juice in your power bank to charge those devices. • Books – Staring at the window for hours can get really tiresome so make sure to bring two or three books with you –just enough to last you through the journey. There’s nothing like reading a book while the beautiful sights surround you.

  5. Metal cup – You will be happy you packed this small thing in your bag. A metal cup can serve many purposes whether it is for drinking water, tea, porridge, noodles, or soup. • Russian phrase book – Of course let’s not forget the phrase book! Russians don’t speak English so to avoid having to make hand signals that make you look silly, save yourself the energy and buy a Russian phrase book.

  6. Before you decide to plan for Trans-Siberian adventures in Moscow, make sure that you are okay with the idea of riding a train for as many as 10 days or more. All that sitting down is going to be worth it because you’ll get to see and experience many sights and adventures than you normally would if it were a regular holiday. When you are ready for a one-of-a-kind journey, The Trans-Siberian Travel Company is your partner to creating a bucket list worthy trip.
