  1. The 5 Most Important Qualities of an Effective Tutor

  2. Introduction Tutoring skills are traits and qualifications that help Home tutors instruct their students and further help their students achieve better results across several subjects such as math, science, art, writing, history, and other specialized areas of focus

  3. 1▪Understanding. This means that the teacher should understand that each student is different and thus his needs are also different. Same teaching methodologies cannot be used for all.

  4. 2▪Sensitive. Private Home tutors should be sensitive towards the differences. Be it caste, religion, gender, physical/mental abilities. No child should be compared to the others.

  5. 3▪Professional In India, people sometimes do not get the idea of professionalism. The teachers should maintain punctuality, regularity, high ethical standards for themselves and the students.

  6. 4▪High moral standards. Since the morality of young Indians is becoming a big question in the present day world, it is important that even the teachers have a high moral standard so they can inculcate morals in the students.

  7. 5▪Effective teaching evaluation Teaching is a skill, for sure but even evaluation needs to be well arranged. Evaluation should not be based on the face value or biased aspects of students. Evaluation should be neutral and get the real outcomes of the teaching.
