  1. Inspire unfavorable sentiment in your digital marketing

  2. So they don't believe in their goods from the start? But why in the world do they run a company or work for a company that they loathe? Why don't they simply step up their game and get back to the fundamentals? Well, I'll stop digressing now. Alternatively, even simpler, promote the negativity and don't be afraid of it. If the criticism is coming from their current or future consumers, shouldn't they be listening to (or engaging with) them to improve their business and provide the ideal product or superior service? They ought should! Digital marketing is all about doing that.

  3. Digital marketing is everything. I hear from medium-sized to bigger companies all too frequently that their major concern with any digital marketing approach, which primarily uses Facebook or any other social media site, is the prospect of getting bad feedback on their Facebook company pages, etc. That's an interesting thought, but aren't they explicitly stating that they anticipate bad feedback because they either don't trust their product or are worried about their capacity to offer a customer-acceptable level of service? They saw a social media-based digital marketing plan as risky for their business, which is so typical of corporate fat cats that operate under a safety net while earning six-figure salaries yet do nothing.

  4. They don't believe in their goods from the beginning, then? But why on earth do they operate a business or work for a company that they loathe? Why don't they just work on their technique and go back to the fundamentals? I'll stop side-tracking now. Or, to make it even simpler, embrace the negativity rather than run from it. Since the negative feedback comes from actual or potential customers, shouldn't they be paying attention to (or engaging with) it? After all, it can spur them on to create the ideal product or provide a higher level of service. They should, of course! That is the main focus of digital marketing. It would be stupid and naïve to reject this paradigm change. Be open to digital media.

  5. Let's assume that many of you are aware of how crucial it is for your business to use social media, particularly Facebook, and that you have already set up a page and begun posting content. wonderful, but you have to do it correctly! Some of you will recognize that Facebook is about relationship building and engagement; brand marketing. That is indeed what it is. It's a platform for you to advertise your company, not a place for you to sell nonstop as many do. This is a crucial element of social media marketing on the internet.

  6. Let's go back to the event that gave me the idea for this piece. As they provide health insurance, I observed a very prominent company in the health sector write a remark about it on Facebook. They received a lot of bad feedback. This is okay, but what they did after that was a catastrophe! It's also not the first time I've witnessed this, and it most definitely won't be the last. They left a remark on the post indicating that they had deleted several comments due to their nature of them, rather than addressing (engaging with) their potential consumers. EPIC FAIL, especially for a company engaged in digital marketing. They merely said that they disapproved of their substance in their one comment. Doesn't that raise doubts about their corporate morality? Due to their lack of engagement (which, incidentally, this page seldom does), as well as their apparent disdain for the possible consumer, they removed their comments. As a result, the opportunity to interact and maybe garner respect, as well as new customers, was lost.

  7. I'm not making fun of this specific company; a close friend of mine's company does some fantastic things on Facebook, but they don't interact! They neglect the main goals of their Facebook digital marketing strategy, which are fan growth and engagement (customers and potential customers). They frequently share some fantastic pictures, and each time I leave a comment, nobody ever replies. Fail again! A company should establish a rule stating that ALL Facebook comments are final. The worrying thing about this situation is that this particular company outsources its social media to a purported specialist.
