Design guidelines • Colours selected for high contrast • Curves bold, encoded by line pattern or simple labels • No grid lines underlying curves • Clear labels on graph axes • Texts and labels on A4 size sheet readable at 8 feet • 35 mm slides readable at arm’s length • Dots to identify lower left corners of right-side-up 35 mm slides Effective Illustration
