Restaurants • The average sales of restaurants are about 1.2 billion dollars a day. • For people who do not have any job experience, working in the food-service industry offers many job opportunities. • Work hours may include late evenings, holidays, and weekend work. • 470,000 restaurant managers in the United States

  5. Fast food • Emphasize on speed of service. • Small-scale street vendors with carts • Franchise business • Ex. McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, KFC etc. • Known as a Quick Serve Restaurant

  6. Crew members • Most have good multitasking skills, due to that there always’ busy • The average of fast-food cooks is estimated around 727,000 people • Need to be passionate about customer service • Work well in a team environment.
