  1. Frankincense Roll On Oil Blog Article For generations, Frankincense oil has been used to treat illnesses of the respiratory and digestive systems. It's now primarily used in aromatherapy to calm the mind, increase vitality, and promote rejuvenation and healing, among other things. There's a reason why it's known as the "king of essential oils." It's capable of doing a little bit of everything. We've compiled a list of the top five ways to include frankincense oil into your wellness routine. Sara Panton, CEO and co-founder of Vitruvi, states, "Frankincense Roll On Oil is a wonderful essential oil with a rich history and aroma." "Frankincense oil and resin have been used for hundreds of years, with the first mentions of it dating back to when it was sold as a kind of currency with myrrh." "The majority of essential oils we use every day are made via steam distillation and cold-pressing of herbs, flowers, and citrus fruits," says one expert. However, frankincense essential oil is unique in that it is made from the sap or'resin' of the Boswellia sacra tree, according to Panton. "This gives it a deep but fresh base note perfume that blends wonderfully and adds depth and complexity to any aroma." Make it a habit to be mindful. Isn't it true that we could all use a little more mindfulness in our daily lives? Being present, whether via mindful eating or meditation, has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety in our lives."Frankincense is a good method to help build a daily ritual and consistency," Panton explains. "This essential oil has been utilised in meditation, prayer, and yoga activities for hundreds of years because the brain loves patterns and familiarity. I like to use it as a reminder to take a few deep breaths during the day or as part of my regular meditation practise. When I know I'm going to have a very hectic day, I'll set alarms on my phone a few times during the day to remind me to pause, ground my feet, and breathe deeply." Frankincense essential oil is the ideal companion for these brief moments of reflection. She also recommends using the oil as part of your existing meditation regimen. "To help establish a tranquil and restorative meditation practise, add five drops to the palm of your palms and rub on meditation beads or crystals," she advises. Anxiety Relief Make no mistake: aromatherapy has scientific backing. They're extensions of the brain's olfactory system. You're not simply inhaling the aroma of an essential oil; you're also eating the rapidly evaporating micro-particles into the area of your brain that governs our emotions." Furthermore, it not only eliminates bad feelings but also promotes pleasant ones. It "promotes feelings of satisfaction, tranquilly, relaxation, and overall wellness," according to the researchers, "which explains its ancient usefulness." It also explains why "frankincense oil is still highly valued and one of the most popular essential oils today." Make Sleep a Priority

  2. Remember how Panton claimed that frankincense is beneficial for forming new habits and rituals, particularly when it comes to mindfulness? The same may be said for sleeping. "I find that using frankincense in my bedtime ritual helps me establish patterns and sleep rituals that help me fall asleep sooner and sleep deeper," she says. "This has a significant impact on my day since I find that when I get adequate sleep, my energy level improves and I don't need as much coffee. I like to put seven drops of frankincense and six drops of organic French lavender in my diffuser in my bedroom about an hour before I go to sleep and close the door. The room is filled with a familiar perfume by the time I get into bed, signalling to my brain and body that it is time to sleep." Immunity Booster The researchers employed the BioMap system, a molecular biology tool, to see how frankincense essential oil maintained healthy cellular activity in human skin cells. The findings imply that frankincense essential oil supports a healthy immunological response, enhances general skin health, and supports a healthy inflammatory response in skin cells when taken combined. Boost Your Skin's Health "Frankincense essential oil also has significant topical benefits for the skin," Panton says. Cleopatra is supposed to have used frankincense oil as a skin treatment, along with geranium oil. "In one tablespoon of jojoba carrier oil, I mix three drops of frankincense essential oil with two drops of geranium essential oil. I use pressure point methods along the brow line and on either side of the bridge of the nose to massage it into my cheekbones and around my eyes." She even mixes a few drops into her eye cream to naturally prevent symptoms of ageing.
