  6. Super Bright 4 LED Flash The powerful new integrated 4 LED flash array allows for picture capture in very poor light conditions giving 131 lux.seconds of energy at 67ms exposure

  7. Variable Flash Intensity New feature in software to produce the correct amount of flash for a particular setting. The unit fires a short pulse of light in low power mode and measures the reflected light. The flash is then adjusted to produce the amount of light needed. Full Power Variable Flash

Anti Shake Feature High quality images are produced every time, minimising the possibility of blurring Top image is an example of an image where the camera was moved at the point of taking a picture. The iCAM501 with anti shake technology rejected this picture and saved the first image without blurring as shown in the quality of the picture of the bottom image.

  11. Image Sharpness Analysis Feature which assesses each picture taken using a powerful image processing algorithm. Compares results to a reference figure and, if necessary, indicates that the image needs to be retaken. Image quality is indicated by a series of lights – see below Fail Pass

  12. New High Performance Lens High resolution images provide greater detail of equipment or larger areas such as plant rooms and buildings. 2048 x 1536 resolution means it is possible to zoom in several times on a section of image without reducing the image quality

  15. Voice Annotations Never forget – Record voice notes to store a .wav file with the same filename as the image taken for detailed reports.
