In 2003, INTAS call for “Setting up National Information Nodes in NIS countries”: • Archimedes acts as the coordinating body for providing: • advice on the issues of FP6 and FP7 • practical advice on proposal preparation • preparation of joint project proposals to support and encourage more active operation of national NIP systems • support and advice for implementing the proposed recommendations published in the Concept Paper • support and advice to NIPs for developing and implementing their ININ NIP work programmes Involvement in Ukraine, Belarus, and Moldova

  3. The concept paper is desiganted to: • Provide outlook on S&T systems in the target countries • Analyse NIP structure by SWOT and give further recommendations in building up efficient consultancy services Concept paper for NIPs

  4. Visit to Kyiv in spring 2004 to meet NIP coordinators and interview them for the Concept paper • Visit to Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova in fall 2004, participation in information days and consulting potential proposers, SWOT analyses of NIP structures • Vistit to Belarus, May 2005 together with Imprimatur Capital • October 2005 particiation in IPR seminar in Minsk • November 2005 brokerage meeting in Tallinn • December 2005 – visit to Chisineau and Kiev • October 2006 – participaition in FP7 launching conference Cooperation so-far
