1. Plus Technologies Dir2Email for Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager/T Systems Solution The solution will provide an automated solution to collect copies of patients’ discharge documents from a designated folder on an OM Plus Dir2Email server, prepare them for emailing, and forward them to the customer’s email system which will encrypt and send them to the patients. This solution will be available to patients willing to provide their email to the customer and opt to receive the information via email. This will help the customer overcome the low adoption rate of patients utilizing their portal. It will automatically get the same portal information to the patients via email, instead of making a patient remember where to go for their portal, remembering their password to login and retrieving their documents. The following explains the conceptual workflow of the proposed integrated solution. ● The overall solution will have Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager /T Systems deposit copies of patients’ discharge documents in a folder where they will be collected by Dir2Email. Dir2Email will prepare them for emailing and forward them to the customer’s email system which will encrypt and email them to the patients. ● Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager/T Systems solution will deposit a copy of a patient’s discharge documents (PDF format) in a local folder on the Dir2Email server. The properly formatted file name will contain the patient’s first name, email address and document name. ● OM Plus Dir2Email server will monitor the designated local folder and pick up documents in packets related to patients’ email addresses. 1. When a new email address/document shows up in the folder, Dir2Email will wait for a configurable period of time and collect all available documents for that email address. The time period can be extremely short in the beginning when there is only one expected document, but it can be extended in the future if there are multiple documents. ● If more documents show up after the configurable period, it will run through the cycle again and send the patient another email. 2. Dir2Email will then attach all the collected documents for a given email address to one email and forward it to the customer’s Exchange/Proof Point encryption email solution. ● ● ● ● Via the customer’s Exchange/Proof Point system, it will have: A record of what/when documents were sent to patients Non-deliverable notifications A copy of the documents sent to the patients in the ‘sent’ folder 3. Additionally, Dir2Email will provide a summary csv file of what documents were emailed to which emails/patients.

2. ● ● These reports will be sent to a configurable email address on a configurable timed basis. The who/what summary report will be a csv file that when opened in Excel (or equivalent) will show the patient email address in the first column followed by the names of the attachments in the following columns.
