Writing a Cover Letter (p.49) • When you apply for a job, usually a cover letter is sent along with your résumé. • Your cover letter should be specific to the position you are applying to. • Relate your skills and experience to what is required in the job posting. The cover letter is your chance to make a good impression!

Stress your qualifications for the position. • Emphasize your education background and/or professional experience • 3.Express your unique personality characteristic and capability that suit the position.
