Learning agreements (LA) The agreement is signed by you,yourhome University and (TalTech) Contacts Before, During and After Mobility parts:Your first course selection, the realcourse choice and results Mobility Office the signs the original documents When you are going to change your Learning Agreement (During Mobility part), please ask confirmation from your home University. Changes are required mostly because of timetable conflict. Changes in LA does not make changes automatically in TalTechweb based system OIS.

  7. Changing Learning Agreement (LA) Due to the timetable conflictsyou are allowed to change the LA Agree changes with your homeUniversity! February It is allowed to change Learning Agreements during the first study month, and always later, when your home University agrees.

  15. Grading at Taltech 5 „A“– excellent 4 „B“– very good 3 „C“– good 2 „D“– satisfactory 1 „E“– sufficient 0 „F“- failed A – assessed (passed) –no grade! M – not passed MI – not attended the exam One ECTS corresponds to twenty six (26) hours of studies (lectures, seminars, practice, home works) performed by student.Home University will transfer the grades to your system.

  16. Lectures and grades The lectures begin on Monday, 28th of January. You are allowed to visit the lectures without registration until 04. February! Register all the courses in OIS and SUBMIT the Study plan. The first lecture is the most important. Be aware from the beginning of the semester,what is required from you. Exam time and rules are arranged by the Lecturer. The Lecturer gives the grade. NB! TalTech has some „passed/failed“ courses, no grade, no%! After your studies you will get an official Document with your exams results – Academic Transcript. These will be sent in July

  20. How to find the right room at taltech TalTech room marking system consists of the building number, the floor and the room number. For example, Mobility Centre U02-2012nd building, II floor, room no 01Extensions of the buildingsare marked with letter Bafter the building no. In Estonia Ist floor is theground lever floor.

  21. How to enter Mobility Centre? We are in the office. Walk in! Do not knock BUT pull very hard. The door is heavy, almost Student proof! Office is closed. Come back another time.

  22. Non eu student You need long term D-type visa or valid Temporary Residence Permit for Study purpose in another EU country. Students who have entered visa free, have to apply for the visa in Estonian Police and Boarder Guard Board as soon as possible. Online registration is required. https://broneering.politsei.ee/ > Book an Appointment > 8. Long-Stay (D) visa> Choose the Service Office, TammsaareOffice for example Non-EU students with visa are visitors in Estonia and don’t have any additional paperwork. Ask all the University Confirmation Letters from Kerti. You do not get free public transportation.

  23. Eu student You do not need Visaor TRP. Information, how to fill in the documents, is available at the web page:www.taltech.ee/exchange > During Mobility >Registration of residence in Tallinn You must register your residence place in the local City District Government within 90 days. Information at the web page show how to go to City District Government and Police and Boarder Guard Board. Preregistration is optional. We will fill in residence registration documents and applications for Estonian ID tomorrow before the campus game.

  24. security 112 Emergency, Fire, Police:Say what happened, where, your name. Using mobile, your location will be detected. Not too much alcohol in the public places! Drugs are illegal. Take care of your fiends when they are drunk! Smoking in public places is not allowed. Keep your behaviorunder control. When your friend ismissing, inform usimmediately!

  26. Right contacts at Taltech Mobility Centre-academic information: The right room? The right person? The right link? The right web site? When you cannot find the coursefromthetimetable. Mobility Centre signs your documents, issues certificates,we do not make copies, scans. Mobility Centre - Residence questions - only from us. Dean’s Offices – OIS Study plan changes during February. Lecturer: content of the course, tests, presentations, exams´ requirements, grades. Buddy, IC: free time, university NB! They work voluntarily!   27. faq How will I make my Study plan? –Step by step, as described in the presentations If I don’t find the course from the timetable? –Please inform Kerti by e-mail If the courses are overlapping? – Please choose theone if possible, inform yourhome university If I want to change Study plan in OIS after the course registration day? – It is allowed duringFebruaryorwhen the course begins in the middle of Semester If I can’t find any suitable course? – Please discuss with home University what kind of options do you have. If I want to change Learning Agreement? –You are allowed to do it.
