  10. Policy (Advocacy Voice of the Movement) • Federal Policy lead • State policy: legislative scan and technical assistance • Minimal support for Local Policy development

Connecting People (Networking Hub) • National Farm to Cafeteria Conference • Regional and State events • NFSN affiliated regional leads (8) and State Leads in 50 states and DC • Over 1100 attendees (46% increase from 2012!) • The 4-day conference included: • 3 plenary sessions, 48 workshops, 10 field trips, 3 short courses, 41 lightning talks, a special gathering of tribal communities that included 28 participants, Regional Networking sessions for 8 regions and Canada, • networking sessions for farm to preschool and school gardens, • poster share fair, and a music project. • A total of 70 scholarships were awarded!
