  2. How to Use This Template Introduction To make your template Save a copy of this file on your computer. In the copy of this file, delete slides 1 through 4. This will leave you with just the last two slides in the file, which are the brochure template itself. Display the guides by clicking on the View Ribbon and selecting Guides. • To create your brochure • Write your text. You may want to write your text in Microsoft Word before transferring it to your brochure template. • Gather or create your diagrams, photos and other graphics. If you want, check out 29 sources of free stock photography. • Lay out your brochure using the tips and example. Instructions Tips on designing content • To produce your brochure • Print your brochure on 11” x 17” paper. Set your printer for double-sided printing. (If your printer doesn’t handle 11” x 17” paper or double-sided printing, you may need to go to a print shop like FedEx Office.) • Fold your print out in thirds. Example brochure I’ve added guide lines to divide the slides of the template into thirds. The dashed lines show you where to place your content. Brochure template Guide lines Save the copy, which now has just two slides and Guides turned on.
