  1. Top 5 benefits of eating healthy, for young kids As a parent, it is your duty to ensure that your kids eat right and get the required vitamins and proteins; keep in mind that they are growing and need all the healthy nutrients they can get but at the same time, you can ensure that they eat the right food. Eating healthy is not an adult obsession and given the recent spurt in Diabetes two being reported in by WHO, the stats are indeed alarming. When it comes to what I eat in a day, I make sure that I eat right and ensure that my kids do the same; so check out some of the top health benefits of a good diet. Obesity: What is alarming WHO and other organizations are the fact that more and more diabetes cases are being reported in, with the patients as young as 5 years. What was assumed to be an anomaly is anything but that, and fast seems to become the norm these days. So it pays to ensure your kids eat right, and get a lot of activity and do not end up being obese. Make sure that you include a lot of greens, cherry red tomatoes, broccoli in their diet as these are loaded with all the essential vitamins and minerals. Cardio vascular issues: More young patients are developing cardiovascular issues as a result of diabetes and associated disorders. This is why you need to keep a careful watch on what your kids eat; it is a good idea to feed them organic produce and make sure that you always go in for a lean cut, when cooking meat or chicken. A better option would be a vegetarian diet, as it is healthier but it all comes down to your choice.

  2. Diabetes: According to WHO, about 1.5 million died in 2012 as a result of diabetes two; this is exactly why you need to go all out to make sure that your kids do not end up with this condition. Keep a calorie watch on how much your kid eats, and while it is good that they have a healthy appetite, there’s no reason you should not check what they consume and provide them with the right food. Make them understand that gorging on snacks is a no- no; instead get them to try out organic or home prepared snacks. Joint and other muscular disorders: It was unheard for kids to develop joint aches or other muscular issues; usually, these issues were restricted to adults but thanks to obesity, younger patients with the same are being reported in from all over the world. One of the main causes for young patients to develop chronic muscular disorders and joint pains is obesity which is why you need to check out what I eat in a day. With these tips and suggestions, you should be able to pick out a healthy diet and ensure that your kids do the same, for obvious reasons.
