  2. Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 Employers’ Duties • Ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all his employees. s2 • Ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety of non employees likely to be affected by your work. s3

  3. Health & Safety Employers’ Duties s2 • Safe place of work • Safe access & egress • Safe plant & equipment • Safe systems of work • Safe storage, transportation, handling & use • Information, instruction, training and • Supervision

Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 Employees’ Duties • You are personally responsible, through your acts or omissions, for the health and safety of yourself and others s7 • You must comply with health and safety procedures and rules laid down by your Employer s7 • You must not deliberately misuse or interfere with anything provided for Safety s8
