  1. April 27, 2018, Bucharest, Romania Correlative action of agrobiological and agrotechnical factors on the quality of some grape varieties in the ecopedoclimatic conditions in the experimental field of U.A.S.V.M. Bucharest Cojanu Daniel-Nicolae Coordinator Professor: MarinelaStroe International Student Symposium "Hortus Academicus“ April 27, 2018 - Bucharest, Romania

  2. Introduction Current trends reflect that the consumption of table grapes has increased significantly (O.I.V., 2013), the concerns of wine growers and researchers becoming major in satisfying consumer demands, offering in this way, competitive products. International Student Symposium "Hortus Academicus“ April 27, 2018 - Bucharest, Romania

  3. Competitive product Environmental factors Origin of varieties Temperature (essential) Humidity Insolation Precipitations Knowledge of varieties Agrotehnical factors

  4. The qualitative complex of table grapes makes this product appreciated not only for its perfect organoleptic condition, but also for bioactive proprieties, being an important source of health for the consumer. International Student Symposium "Hortus Academicus“ April 27, 2018 - Bucharest, Romania

  5. Materials and methods In the paper four varieties of table grapes were observated, from the varietal conveyor cultivated in Romania- Victoria cv., Muscat Hamburg cv., Muscat d'Adda cv., and Afuz Ali cv., with different full maturity periods and also being genetically related. International Student Symposium "Hortus Academicus“ April 27, 2017 - Bucharest, Romania

  6. In this study six vines for each variety were analyzed and during the vegetation period, was followed the phenological evolution, observing the synergic impact of the climatic factors and the applied agrotechnics on the varieties, on the background of their agrobiological particularities, which influenced production differently in quantitative terms, but especially qualitative.

  7. Three experimental variants have been established for each variety as follows:

  8. Experience was made in the experimental field of U.A.S.V.M Bucharest

  9. The vines were conducted with semi-high lead, the type of pruning- Guyot on semi-stem and the rootstock used, SO4.Also, planting distances were 2.2 m between the rows and 1.2m between plants per row.

  10. Results and discussions It can be noticed an earliness in the course of phenology, under the influence of climatic factors and agrotechnics applied. International Student Symposium "Hortus Academicus“ April 27, 2018 - Bucharest, Romania

  11. From the point of view of the fertility elements, expressed by the values of the two coefficients - the highest values were recorded by Muscat Hamburg cv. and the lowest values were registered by the Muscat d’Adda variety. International Student Symposium "Hortus Academicus“ April 27, 2018 - Bucharest, Romania

  12. No matter of the cultural techniques applied, the varieties analyzed reacted differently regarding the percentage of fruit set as well as forming small berries and very small berries under the correlative action of agrobiological factors (Stroe et. al, 2017). International Student Symposium "Hortus Academicus“ April 27, 2018 - Bucharest, Romania

  13. Very small berries Small berries Afuz Ali cv. Victoria cv. It is noticed that Afuz Ali cv., had formed the highest percentage of 26.07% small and very small berries with free pollination, followed by Victoria cv. with 22.14% in insolation.

  14. In the blossoming phenophase, although the average daily temperatures had significant fluctuations, in the full blossoming the average was 19,84ºC, even registering a ceiling of 20ºC between June 3 and 8. The relative humidity (%) values in the same interval were 67.25%, ensuring optimal conditions for flowering, the requirements of varieties being between 55-65%. Precipitations in the same interval record 37 mm values, and in full blooming 24 mm. International Student Symposium "Hortus Academicus“ April 27, 2018 - Bucharest, Romania

  15. As we can see, Muscat Hamburg cv. variety records the maximum values in terms of both production and quantity of sugars, followed by Afuz Ali cv. and Muscat d'Adda cv. International Student Symposium "Hortus Academicus“ April 27, 2018 - Bucharest, Romania

  16. We can see a visible difference between variants at Victoria variety. Insolation Free Pollination International Student Symposium "Hortus Academicus“ April 27, 2018 - Bucharest, Romania

  17. Conclusions and recommendations • The varieties registered an earliness in the course of phenology. • The climatic conditions recorded in the spring of 2017 in blooming phenophases (t° C and U%) and also in the ripening phenophases had good effects on the fruit set, the average weight of the grapes, and on the production. • The agrotechincs applied had influenced in good way both production parameters, quality and quantity, all the varieties accumulating sugar quantities that answer consumer’s demands. International Student Symposium "Hortus Academicus“ April 27, 2018 - Bucharest, Romania
