DEMAND-DRIVEN EFFORT!

This project is focused on identifying and securing 4-year university degree programs, both public and private. Major codes have been secured and course options/requirements have been explored. The Florida Statewide Course Numbering System has been utilized to ensure compatibility. General course outlines for transfer tracks have been created, including general education requirements. Meetings with university/department personnel have taken place to discuss transfer goals and exchange contact information. Additional resources such as a college website, Facebook page, and promotional materials have been created. Currently, efforts are being made to secure student scholarships and create Outstanding Student Awards for A.A. transfer graduates. The challenge now is to find a bigger space for the Marine Science Department, requiring time, money, equipment, space, faculty, and courses.
