  2. Migraine is very common in women and reacts to a variety of factors and events called triggers which can vary from person to person. The most frequent migraine attacks in women are triggered by skipped meals, lack of sleep, loud noises, excess intake of caffeine, stress, strong odors, hormonal changes during menstrual period and some food that contain monosodium glutamate. Mostly people mistook migraine as normal headache but women should be aware of some symptoms that are associated with migraine and experienced during the migraine attack which are sensitivity to light and sounds, blind spots, nausea, vomiting, intense pounding or throbbing pain in one side of the head. The research has shown that women suffer from migraine problem three times as often as men. Thus it is also very difficult to keep track of trigger or reason that causes migraine attack because headache can start any time of the day. The fluctuation in estrogen during hormonal changes is also one of the major causes of pain. Due to hormonal problems many women have to take hormonal medications such as hormonal replacement therapy and oral contraceptives which can further aggravate the migraine headache. Even many women have tendency to develop migraines during menopause or pregnancy.

  3. There are several ways and treatments which are tried by many women but no one actually knows how to stop a migraine headache. You should never try to endure the pain but instantly take the medicine recommended by your doctor otherwise your condition will get worse. However there are some basic cures for migraine in women are recommended by the doctors to manage your migraine attacks and alleviate symptoms of migraine. You should always drink lots of water to stay hydrated and to instantaneously relive the pain after taking medicine lie down in dark and silent room to take rest.
