  4. Needs within the country • Planning (investment, grid concessions, off grid concessions, assessments…) • sectoral policies • assessment of existing capacity in the country, • data collection and distribution on energy sector, • cooperation among institutions on energy,

  5. training (human ressources), • development of planning tools, • models of planning tools, • identification and implementation of solutions using renewable energy, • decentralized electrification in remote areas, • low cost electrification, • low cost energy,

  6. Needs within the region • enhance states capacities on energy integration mechanism, • enhance development of an environment which might attract businessmen to invest on energy sector • help clarify the institutional structure at regional levels,

  7. new job profile for regional integration, hence new training required, • Development of hydro plants and grid interconnexion for optimal exploitation of available potential, • Facilitate grid interconnexion amongst member states.

  8. Planning and investments in the remote areas and the suburban areas, • Implement a program to control biomass consumption in order to mitigate deforestation, • integration of domestic gas among the poorest, • Strong states engagement,

  9. Operational validation of an evolving framework (for example: RE fund to be established, modalities and procedures to access fund have to be validated though actual implementation of projects) this requires implementation of Demonstration project • Capacity building of local stakeholders (RE new private operators)

  10. Within the CEMAC action plan • Implementation of CEMAC action Plan, namely the elevenstrategic action • Insist on soft actions.
