  1. Mini bike Parts and Kits – The Modern and the Vintage What is it that differentiates mini bikes from the world of motorcycles? Plenty is the answer. Motorcycles have a free run of the main roads and the highways while in some states, mini bikes are not permitted even on bike tracks, being restricted to private property, designated fields (dirt tracks), and race tracks. Mini bikes start at 49cc and the height is about 2ft. An adult of 150lbs would find it quite impossible to travel on such a bike at more than 20 mph, being crouched on the bike at an uncomfortable angle and unable to lean into corners.

  2. The world of mini bike kit is not much different from that of those snazzy motorcycles that zoom past you at lightning speeds. Both have hardy frames, engines, transmissions, suspension, wheels, and tires, though of vastly different sizes and power. The major difference is that while it is easy to build a mini bike from scratch from a mini bike kit because of the small size and relative simplicity, building a motorcycle is not easy, almost impossible by amateur motorbike enthusiasts. Mini bikes come in various sizes and designs. What catches the eye are the frames, often two hexagon-shaped tubular rods, the seat placed on the top, and the engine on the lower platform. Whether it is the vintage Taco or Bonanza, the silhouette has been constant until about a couple of decades back when mini bikes in the profile of regular motorcycles were introduced.
