EMERGENCY MEDICAL CAREInfectious/Hazardous Material • Personal Protective Equipment: • All staff members have their own disaster PPE packet . • All staff members are fitted and instructed in proper use by REHS. • PPE Packet: 1 gown, 1 pair of shoe covers, 1 N95 mask, 1 N100 Mask, 1 pair nitrile gloves, 1 eye protection.

POST-EMERGENCY RECOVERYPoint Of Distribution (POD) • Training • POD Operations Training on Plague • NJ DOH at Newark • POD TOPOFF 3 Exercise • US Department of Homeland Security • Purpose • To establish procedures for distribution of prophylaxis medications in the event of a declared biological, chemical or radiation emergency.

DISASTER SUPPLIES KIT • Water: 3 gallons per person • Food: 3-day supply per person • Kitchen accessories: Manual can opener, disposable cups, plates and utensils, utility knife, sugar and salt, aluminum foil, plastic wrapper-sealable plastic bags • Portable, battery powered radio and television; extra batteries • Several flashlights; extra batteries • Blankets for each person • First aid kit • Sanitation and hygiene items
