  3. 59% of victimsare abused by peoplethe family trusts.

  4. 700 children and families receive case coordination, therapy and other direct help from Kristi House annually.

  5. Last year Kristi Housetherapists provided more than 7,000 hoursof counselingfor children.

  6. 1 in 4 girls and1 in 7 boys will be sexually abused bythe age of 18.

  7. Kristi House provides transportation to help families get to and from the services they need.

  8. The median age for reported abuse is 9 years old.

  9. Each month an average of 56 new cases of child sexual abuse come to Kristi House.

  10. More than 30% of victims never disclose the experience to ANYONE.

  11. 1 in 5 children are solicited sexually while on the Internet

  12. The average age of entry into prostitution in the United States is 13.

  13. There are 39 million survivors of child sexual abuse in America today.

  14. 93% of all victimsknow their abusers.
