  2. The early years Born in St. Paul Minnesota on September 24,1896 as an Irish catholic Fitzgerald started writing short stories and novels in 1919 He fell in love with a woman named Zelda Sayre the daughter of a supreme court judge in Alabama and they were engaged in 1919

  3. The wild years with Zelda Fitzgerald had a wild life full of partying and money spending when he was with Zelda During these wild times he wrote some of his best books

  4. Books he wrote in the wild years Some of the books he wrote in his wild years are The Great Gatsby and The Beautiful and the damned

  5. It has been said it might have been his big party lifestyle that slowed him down or his big money spender wife Zelda

  6. The falling years Fitzgerald had suffered two heart attacks in 1940 the second one killed him in Hollywood California on Dec. 21,1940
