Tip- 1 • It is important that you do a weather check before starting the work for sidewalk repair. • The temperature should be below 75 degrees Fahrenheit for you to be able to accomplish the task without any glitches. • Any small deviation from the mentioned temperature could result in the concrete becoming rigid even before it is evenly spread on the ground.

  4. Tip- 2 • The repair of sidewalk requires you to inject grout and concrete. For this, you have to drill a hole in the concrete slab. • The hole should be done in a precise dimension. It should be 1 inch in diameter and 3 inches away from the slab corner to prevent the concrete from cracking totally. The hole should be made until you hit the soil. • Later, you can easily inject the prepared grout mixture into the soil.

  5. Tip- 3 • Pump in the grout mixture until you see the slab start to rise. • Move the hose to one of the holes beside the center one and continue pumping. • Move the hose once more to the last hole and pump in the remainder of the grout, until the sidewalk slab is at a level with the rest.

Tip- 4 • Once the leveling of the concrete is done to the desired height and it gets into proportion you can easily fill in the hole with the concrete mix so as to level it up and prevent any further sinking of the concrete slab. • Remember to clean out the excess concrete from the area where the hole was drilled to prevent any rough surface in the area.
