  9. Example 5 • Matthew paid $49.45 for 5 DVD’s at a sale. How much would it cost for 11 DVD’s at the same rate? COP It costs $9.89 for 1 DVD Let C= Cost, D=DVD C=9.89D C=9.89(11) C=$108.79
