Mission/Vision Purpose as a Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences: • Demonstrate the highest quality of medical practice in the treatments of diseases and dysfunctions of the human nervous system in all of their varied manifestations • Promote a better understanding of diseases and dysfunctions of the human nervous system, both psychiatric and behavioral, by effectively educating students of medicine and other health and behavioral sciences at the undergraduate and graduate levels
