  2. Ephesians 3.8-9 • 8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, • 9 and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things,

  3. Ephesians 3.10 • 10 so that through the churchthe manifold wisdom of God might now be made knownto the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.

  4. Today we will discuss: • The Urgency / Great Need. • People who feel Compassion. • People who Rejoice / Happy. • Committed & Not Deterred.

  5. People who understand the Urgency: Need

  6. There’s an Urgency / Great Need: • Mat 4.23 – Proclaimed & Healing. • Lk 4.16 – He was Going to the sick. • Lk 14.21 – Compelling those to come. • Rom 10:1 – Paul’s desire … • Us …? Are we like the Lord?

  7. People who feelCompassion.

  8. Compassion – “Heart Motivation”: • Jesus – felt compassion. • He was motivated to heal / sick. • He was a “shepherd” to the lost. • Jesus saw the distress & downcast • Us …? Are we like the Lord?

  9. People Who Rejoice (Our Attitude)

  10. People who rejoice: • Jesus’ Mission – Seek the Lost. • Lk 15.2-7 – the who is lost. • Parable – What can we learn? • Us …? What’s our attitude

  11. We can’t be Deterred (Enter into the Mission Field)

  12. Our Mission – Rescue the Lost • Satan – The “Master Manipulator”. • Christ – He did not stray (Cross). • Paul’s Prayer – Strengthen & Comprehend God’s love. • Our Prayer – “God Use Me …”

  13. The Church – Rescue Station for the Soul (Col 1.13)

  14. Church – God’s Wisdom Revealed • Our goal – invite them to know God’s Redemptive Story. • To make known God’s Mystery. • Let’s be willing to go ... • But, we need to be a People …
