  2. Don’t forget to download publications, it’s oh so much better than hand entry Step 2 Step 1 Step 3

  3. Don’t forget to copy and paste, it’s oh so much better than hand entry Option 1 Control + C Control + V Option 2 Highlight the information you want to copy then right click on your mouse

  4. Don’t forget, some entries may require a little research…. It is best not to default to “Not In List” • If you are given a questionable entity: • Ask the faculty member for a little more information • Search the internet to find additional information on the entity • If given an abbreviation, it is best to spell out the organization, institution or company name “if it doesn’t make sense to you, it probably won’t make sense to us”

  5. Don’t forget to search for the findable How many have used the keyword search? Although it would be nice, the search engine within Edit & Entry is not meant to search for faculty or specific words on the CV - On our list for future enhancements! Additional feedback on searching?

  6. Don’t forget real dates are best Maybe you have a past email with the correct presentation dates listed… Maybe you have access to the faculty member’s hard copy journal… Do you have a reference to the activity on your calendar? Or on your faculty member’s calendar? You always have the option to ask the faculty member for more information. If the faculty member does not know the date, it is okay to default to the first of the year.

  7. What do you “don’t do” that you want to do?

  8. Don’t Forget that CV’s are a Shared Responsibility It Takes a Village  Update the CV as regularly as possible…
