Presented by Thea Gomelauri Director of the Project July, 2004 – December, 2004 PROJECT TITLE: “Assessing Applicability of Bankruptcy Law and Monitoring Execution of Court Rulings as to Bankruptcy Disputes”

  2. The Project Objectives: examine deficiencies in the present Bankruptcy Law and execution of bankruptcy court rulings; survey business, legal and investment communities to identify problems related to bankruptcy litigation; recommend changes in existing legislation, develop effective implementation mechanisms;

  3. The Project Outputs: effective mechanisms created for the protection of creditor’s rights; best international practice in bankruptcy litigation introduced; recommendations for legal/regulatory reform issued;
