Objectives The goal is to create a strong bond between the educational system in Rosh Ha’ayin and the Jewish and non Jewish communities of Birmingham and New Orleans according to the objectives of “Partnership 2000”. Getting to know one another on both personal and professional basis Introduce the students to the similarities, while also showing the diversity Strengthen the relationships between the partnered communities

  3. The Acquaintance between the Educators It gave me the opportunity to remind myself what the essence of our job is. It actually brought innovation and inspiration. Ilana Mirer, “Gvanim” JHS The time spent together enabled me to make friends, find out who are the people I have more common interests with and to be able to meet our partners for further correspondence and mutual work. Andreea Bar-Yakar, “Gvanim” JHS The diversity in terms of religion, culture and even daily life makes you want to know more about people as human beings. Yifat David, “Gvanim” We all enjoyed meeting our American colleagues, sharing ideas and planning our joint n projects. We created strong personal bonds which we will develop further. Future Plans • Develop the projects spoken about during the visit - starting in September 2007 • Visit of educators from Rosh-Ha’ayin to Birmingham / New Orleans: • Work to improve our programs, personal and work relationships. • Become familiar with the educational world of the Jewish and non Jewish communities
