Armenia –The World’s Most Underrated Travel Destinations A tourist visa is issued when a foreigner intends to enter the country of Armenia for the purpose of tourism, visiting relatives or other persons and other professional interest or other short-term stay. A tourist visa is usually issued for a single entry or for multiple entries with a validity of about one year. Armenian visas are issued for a maximum of 120 days with the possibility to extend for another 60 days if no other term is defined by the international agreements of the Republic of Armenia. Armenia is the only country remaining from the 3,000- year-old maps of Anatolia. It becomes one of the world’s first Christian countries and has a large Diaspora all over the world. Lying in the former Soviet Republic, Armenia has a rich and ancient culture. The country is bordered by Turkey towards the west, Georgia to the North and Iran to the South.
