  1. London: The City Of Architectural Grandeur They say a bad day is still a good day when you are roaming on the streets of London. Obviously it is, after all that isn’t there to love about the city that offers something or the other for everyone. Be it the majestic London Eye or some of the greatest Free-for-all Art Galleries or Museums created by the government, the city of ideas and imagination offers the nonpareil touring experience to the visitors from any part of the globe. The entrancing architectural grandeur of the city reflects the cultural heritage so beautifully that even the lifetime seems less to get over the historic splendor and its mind-blowing antiquity. It is impossible to choose one from the long list of captivating monuments in London but still we are listing the few that one can’t afford to miss on during their London Tour. Big Ben The picture of the mighty Big Ben is probability the first thing that pops up in our heads when we think about London. Measuring around 2.28 meters tall and 2.75 meters wide, the Big Ben was built in the year 1834 after the palace of webminister got destroyed by fire. The very first time the Big Ben rang was in the year 1858. Unfortunately, the privilege of touring the monument lies only with the UK residents and it is essential to book in advance and bookings are usually full. Tour Timings: 9 A.M, 11 A.M and 2 A.M from Monday- Friday.

  2. Tower Bridge The iconic Tower bridge of London was built in 19th century by more than 432 construction workers and took over 8 years to finish. If you are afraid of heights then think twice about getting the tickets for the exhibition. During the exhibition, the visitors get 42 meters above the river thymes through the walkways. The bridge is located close to the Tower of London from where it takes its name. Opening hours: 10 AM – 6 PM during summer time and 09.30 A.M – 5.30 PM during winter. London Eye London Eye is an innovative and newest addition in the list. The attraction was built in 2000 for the millennial celebration and offers a 360o view up to 25 miles. The London eye has the third largest Ferris wheel in the world and is an appropriate place to watch the sun go down in the city. Opening Hours- 9 A.M to 8:30 P.M House Of Parliament Just like many other buildings in London City, The house of parliament also got destroyed by fire back in 1834. The monument is located near the Big Ben and is one of the main tourist attractions in London. The tour for the UK residents is absolutely free but non-UK residents need to pre-book tickets or buy them. Tour Timings: Guided tours run on Saturdays from 9:15 A.M- 5:30 P.M Buckingham Palace The popular Buckingham palace was once served as a resident of the sovereigns, but now it is mainly used as the headquarters of the monarch. The large collection of priceless artworks attracts the tourists around the world. The tours for UK residents are free of cost, but the foreign travelers need to pay £34.50 for an adult to explore the palace from inside.
