It is also attached within the folder for class 3 under handouts and can also be found on my website under class 3 handouts. • The following slide also includes key questions to consider when reviewing your plan. If you have not started your plan- • do so now using the DIPF Guidelines on pp. 18-19 of the P.T. Handbook as well as information from our class discussions/power points

  3. DIPF Check • Is the expectation doable? • Does the assessment connect to the expectation (was the expectation altered to reflect the lesson – is the lesson valid?) • Is the application linked to the expectation and the assessemnt strategy? Is the recording device noted? • Is the teaching mostly teacher-directed? • Does the content include the what only – facts, topics, knowledge, skills? • Do the strategies include the specifics of what the teacher and students will do? • Does the strategy area focus on the how of the lesson? Does it include key questions to guide and shape the learning? • Can it be easily followed? Does it make sense? • Is the lesson specific enough? Are specifics used throughout? • Is the lesson linked to the application with a quick consolidation? • Does the Preassessment indicate what the students need to know prior to doing the lesson? • Are special needs students included using only their first initial? • Go through the lesson – are all necessary items included in the resource section? • Are all handouts or marking sheets mentioned in the lesson plan attached or available with location noted?
