  7. Area of Operation Distances : 34km / 2hrs OBJ Mamba Mil-Mugan Dam, Horadiz

  8. Maneuver concept of operation 3 ABCT attacks with 1-8 CAB (Main Effort) and 1-68 CAB (Supporting Effort) along axis of advance ANTELOPE to destroy or bypass enemy forces in zone and seize OBJ MAMBA 4-10th CAV will conduct screening operations along the international border to secure the left flank of 3 ACBT’s attack linking with 3SBCT units at OBJ Coral 3-29 FA Support units with fire support as needed. Priority of fires(ph 1) : 4-10CAV, 1-8 CAB, 1-68 CAB / (Phase 2) : 1-8 CAB, 4-10CAV, 1-68 CAB 64th BSB Establish BSA and provide forward support to 3ABCT.

  9. Updated IPB • Enemy Disposition and Situations • Rest of the 2 OSC moved toward OBJ MAMBA • 4 OSC have been reinforced with 2 OSC and bring up • 80% operational strength • Enemy will result in projected mission command issue • Expect significant resistance initially, But rapid decline of unit integrity once their main lines of defense have been ruptured • 185th Artillery Battalion’s effective ranges are 15.4K to 27K respectively per battery with a wide variety of available munitions and possible use of chemical munitions. Unknown at this time yet. • Enemy morale is high due to lack of engagement and emplacement to “defend” their border. • Impact on LOG operations • The open, rolling terrain provides extended observation and disadvantage of cover / concealment for daytime OPS • - LOGPAC operation opened enemy observation and needed convoy operations. • Greatest impact of weather will be periods of low visibility due to fog / dust, Fog in the morning hours in low-lying • areas will limit visibility : Limited air assets and restricted day time resupply. • Limited major road networks and canal systems prevent multiple high speed axes of advance and road movement. • - Available MSR SEOUL are limited by unimproved road and canals.

Logistical focus is on sustaining 3rd ABCT momentum by providing far forward support. Priority of Units (Phase 2) : 1-8CAB → 1-68CAB → 4-10CAV → 3-29FA (except CL V) Distribution’s Method : LOGPACs Organized for each Co and conduct replenishment operations based on LOG situation BSA Overlay

  12. Concept of Support : Class I (MREs and Bottled waters) Concept / Considerations : 2-2-2 ISSUE cycle, Ration cycle is M-M-M until through D+4 All pallets positions rounded up to the whole. FSCs push down to the maneuver units and BSB replenish to the FSCs Requirements Total PAX : 3,791 MREs : 11,373 / 23PALs WATER : 71536.17L / 83PALs Water for EPWs and civilian 10% rate are prepare in the BSB 5.1gal water per soldier / per day Capabilities LOGPACs replenished at D+84hrs No Shortfalls

  13. Concept of Support : Class III (B) Concept : Maneuver units will be replenished at H+78 by the FSCs. BSB will be replenish the fuel to the FSCs as they required. A/64th BSB will support FSCs utilizing a bulk fuel supply point on site at each FSC Trains. Requirement / Consumptions 3rd ABCT daily fuel usage : 74,868 gal Capabilities • Considerations • Planning factor for JP8 is based on Attacks and • a tactical idle of 2 hours and speed of 13 mph S XC. • Maneuver units will report CL III(B) status on daily • LOGSTAT report • Maneuver units will LD with 100% fuel internal tank • CL III (B) will resupply by FSCs at the D+78hrs • BSB will resupply by FSSP Storage capacity : 202,500 gal

  14. Concept of Support : Class V (Ammunitions) • Concept / Consideration : Ammo will be conducted by movement from ATHP to FSC to Maneuver BNs. • 36hrs attack operations, Combat intensity is Heavy contact, No resupply during • operations, Significant / Combat Power Advantage over Enemy Capabilities - Maneuver Units have 100% on CL V crosses LD - 3ABCT have 1 DOS AMMO UBL on hand, FSCs / BSB have 1 DOS in storage. - 64 BSB will establish ATHP OBJ Coral - Aerial delivery is available for emergency resupply Analysis - CSRs remain in effect - A/64th BSB resupply to FSC - No shortfalls Requirements - Charts are based on LEW, Requirement should be followed on MCLs

  15. Concept of Support : General Supply ( II, III(P), IV ) Concept / Consideration : Concept of support is based on LOGPAC to the FSCs General planning focus on South West Asia Requirements - It will be replenish at D+84 hrs by the BSB Capabilities - JSLIST are command-regulated items. - Units will deploy with 2 JSLISTs per Solider. - The requirement will be push by LOGFACs

  16. Concept of Support : Maintenance • Consideration : 3rd ABCT Seize OBJ MAMBA at H+84, • On-site repair(2hrs) item will be return during DAY+2 operations • Priority of EVA : M2/M3 series, M777, M109, M113 (AMB), HMMWV series, M978, M984, PLS/LHS, M997 Capabilities : recovery assets Requirements : Loss of estimate - Day 1 : Attack D+60 ~ 84hrs, Day 2 : Hasty defense D+84 ~ 96hrs MCP MCP FSC FSC FSC FSC Shortfall / Mitigation

  17. Concept of Support : Health Support Service EVACUATION PLAN Concept : Health Support Service is focus on the early evacuations out of battlefield and the stabilization wounds & injuries personnel. BSB support Roll II care and 28th CSH establishes a 164bed capacity (A Co) at LSA WABASH, a 84bed capacity (B Co) at TAA STUART and provides far forward Level III HSS/FHP C Med (LevelII) CSH at LSA (Level III ) Requirements - Daily anticipated KIA is 15 and Total EVA is 52 personnel - Log estimate of CL VIII required 7.82 STONs per day Capabilities - Host nation medical care is not authorized - No shortfall, HSS can be supportable CAB BAS (Level I) CSH CCP

  18. Concept of Support : Transportation Capabilities - D FSC : 7 LHS + 7 PLS w/TRL = 140 Pallet positions - E FSC : 7 LHS + 5 PLS + 12 PLS w/TRL = 240 PALs - F FSC : 7 LHS + 5 PLS + 12 PLS w/TRL = 240 PALs - G FSC : 4 LHS + 7PLS + 11 PLS w/TRL = 220 PALs - BSB : 10 LHS + 10PLS + 20 PLS w/TRL = 400 PALs Movement control : - Units must submit movement requests with convoy mission, type of vehicles, number of vehicles, SP/RP, and return time to Trans Officer. - Minimum of two-hour lead time is needed to process the movement. - Convoy is no less than 10 vehicles and no more than 30 vehicles - Convoys will provide their own security - Units will coordinate with 64th BSB SPO Trans Officer for evacuation of downed vehicles from unit MCP to B/64 BSB. Requirements / Convoys Plans #1. LOGFAC push to FSCs at D+84 #2. Replenish operation as required - Movements of CL III(B) - Movements of CL V
