  2. 집단지성(Collective Intelligence) • Collective intelligence(집단 지성)은 비전문가나 전문가를 포함하는 다수의 사람들의 기여와 공헌이 모여 새로운 지식과 정보가 형성되는 것을 말한다. 이런 지식과 정보는 계속해서 갱신되고 새로운 가치가 부여되기도 한다. 집단 지성은 웹 2.0을 설명하는데 있어서 핵심이 되는 개념 가운데 하나로서 웹 2.0이 표방하는 "공유와 참여 및 개방"의 철학을 잘 내포하고 있다.
