I invited to Moderate the Active Work Session “Taking a Position/ Drafting a Submission” Make a presentation on Setting the Task -“National Action” Nairobi, Kenya 4-5 Feb 2009 African Agriculture in the 21st Century: Meeting the Challenges, Making a Sustainable Green Revolution High level Meeting. Invited to represent the Scientific community in preparation for the 17TH UNCSD Windhoek, Namibia 9-10 Feb 2009 Delhi Sustainable Development Summit Towards Copenhagen:an equitable and ethical approach. Invited to be part of the Southern Africa Delegation, New Delhi, India 1-7 Feb 2009 High Level Meeting on Food Security for All (RANSA). Made an invited intervention on behalf of the scientific and policy research community during Round Table 3 discussion on "Linking Research to Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Policies", Madrid, Spain 26-27 January 2009 United Nations (UNCCD) CoP 14 Climate Change Meeting. Made a speech during the COMESA Side Event on the Africa Climate Solution Initiative which promotes the REDD-AFOLU Coalition in Poznań, Poland, 10 December 2008
