  5. Meetings and Communication • The Metadata group is coordinated by Rick St Denis, and meets on the last Tuesday of the month (8:30 CDT/14:30 BST/15:30 CET). Interested parties should contact Rick. • The Metadata Group maintains a mailing list. If you'd like to be added to it, contact Paul Millar, or you can subscribe yourself. In addition, the mailing list archive is available. • The group also has a publicly readable Wiki page. (An account is required to write to the Wiki - contact Paul Millar). • Web pages are maintained by Steven Hanlon GridPP1 and AHM

Aims The purpose of the Metadata Group is to examine commonalities across all the HEP experiments' metadata handling, • at the technology level, • at the interface level, • and at the schema level. • The final aim of the group will be to ensure that the metadata services are deployed as much as possible using common technologies (ideally industry standard technologies) • A tall order..
